THE ZORRO NEWSPAPER STRIP DEAD BODY RISING
SUNDAY
WEEK THIRTY EIGHT
McGregor     125

PANEL ONE
(ACROSS THE WHOLE TOP WIDTH OF THE SUNDAY STRIP, TOD! AGAIN, FOLLOWING THROUGH WITH INCREDIBLE ACTION FROM SATURDAY, THIS IS A SIDE VIEW OF ZORRO, JUST AS HE IS ABOUT TO LAND ON TOP OF MONASTERIO'S BACK FROM HIS BEAUTIFUL LEAP! AND LET'S REALLY SHOWCASE HIM, SEEING HIM IN FLUID ACTION, CAPTURING THE POETRY OF HIS MOVEMENT, HIS GRACE AND AGILITY!)
CAP 1: Some believe the Fox is a creature of the night.
CAP 2: Some believe this Fox can fly!
CAP 3: Seeing him gracefully launch himself through air at his enemies, one can understand how the beliefs started.

PANEL TWO
(STARTING THE LOWER ROW OF PANELS, TOD. ANGLED DOWN ON QUICKBLADE AS HE EXTENDS THE SERPENT LANCE AGAIN, THIS TIME INTO THE FRONT LEFT WHEEL, THE WOODEN SPOKES GIVING WAY TO THE FANTASTIC METAL SHAFT!)
CAP 4: Time to toss another hurdle at this Fox who would try to defy gravity, Quickblade figures.

PANEL THREE
(AND A STARTLING LAST PANEL, TOD, AS THE FRONT WHEEL STARTS TO CAVE IN, AND ZORRO AND MONASTERIO AND THROWN OFF TORNADO, CRASHING DOWNWARD, WHERE IT LOOKS LIKE THEY'LL EITHER BE STOMPED TO DEATH OR CRUSHED BY THE CARRIAGE!)
CAP 5: The front left carriage wheel spokes give way to Quickblade's Serpent Lance as the rear one's did--
CAP 6: --hurtling the Fox and Monasterio toward ground and the onrushing, crushing, careening carriage!
CAP 7: So much for flying!
